They are now looking to grow their creative team with an Art Manager, reporting directly to the CEO/Creative Director and in charge of designers.

The Art Manager is responsible for integrating design with branding and strategy. He/She will collaborate with the Branding, Copywriting, Project and UX teams, involved in the execution of a branding and design project.

Branding and design projects may include:


  • graphic design,

  • logo design,

  • email campaigns,

  • website design,

  • user interfaces,

  • mobile apps,

  • videography,

  • advertisements,

  • social media content,

  • typography,

  • print production,

  • image selection

  • and written content.

The role often acts as a facilitator for group reviews. With strong attention to detail and passion for design, an Art Director is a systems-level thinker and problem solver excited by the opportunity to push the boundaries of constraints.


The Art Manager has a degree in art, such as graphic design, photography, literature, visual communication, digital media or even marketing. More than a degree, he/she has a robust portfolio and experience designing are key in a growing startup like Hy-On.  Some projects may require hands-on work from all team members. 

An eye for Design thinking and Visual design is key. 

In order to be successful as an Art Manager, he/she typically need to have several years’ experience with digital design programs such as:

  • Adobe Creative Cloud

  • Cinema 4D

  • Figma

  • Sketch

It is also beneficial to have knowledge of certain coding languages such as:

  • HTLM

  • CSS

  • Javascript
