Finergreen is a financial advisory company specialized in the renewable energy sector. Founded in 2013, the company has already raised € 1bn of financing for over 800 MW of assets.


The company operates through 3 main segments:

  • M&A: Mergers & Acquisitions advisory for renewable energy companies;

  • Project Financing: Financial advisory for the structuring and raising of equity and/or

    debt for renewable energy assets;

  • Strategic Advisory: Strategic advisory (with a strong financial focus) on renewable

    energy markets.


Operating in the MidCap segment (€ 1-200 M), the company has triple expertise:

  • Financial: project financing (raising and structuring debt or project equity), asset M&A and corporate M&A. The company interacts with investors from all over the world;

  • Legal: negotiation and implementation of the legal documentation related to transactions (divestment agreement, loan agreement, etc.) in partnership with lawyers;

Technical: project development monitoring until the commissioning of the plants. Negotiation of works contracts (EPC) and maintenance contracts (O&M) of plants on behalf of its customers.

The company internationalised its activity since 2016 by opening offices in Abidjan, Rome and Singapore (2017), and Dubai (2018). Finergreen is a fast growing entity always keen to bring value to its customer through new activities and from new locations:

  • Besides its legacy core businesses

  • New markets (Africa, Turkey, Latin America)

  • New technology types (wind, biogas, hydro)

  • Diversification in the corporate advisory space


FINERGREEN works for a wide panel of key market-makers, either private or public and with high profiles which translates into best-in-class projects. Our goal is, therefore, to create a world-recognised-brand of financial advisory experts specialized in the renewable energies sector.



As an Associate, you will be based in Dubai and report directly to the Managing Partner of the Dubai office.
You will have the responsibility to manage operationally the mandates realized by Finergreen in the Middle East region, which may be M&A, Project Finance or Strategic Advisory missions. You will supervise and manage the Analysts who will work on your missions and will be responsible for meeting the commitments to the client (deadlines, deliverables, etc.).


As part of Finergreen’s global growth and diversification, you may also be required to carry out market research, to help sourcing projects and clients in new markets and to attend specific events to develop the company’s network. You may also work in collaboration with Finergreen’s team on communication material related to the Renewable Energy sector (interviews, market studies, etc.).


A few trips across the GCC countries or Europe may also be required.


Your tasks will include:


• Strategic progress

o Supervision/production/validation of project documents(InfoMemo,financial models, term-sheet, etc.)

o Pro-actively
o Providecommercialproposals
o Advise, recommend, mark-up all documentation supporting our 
mandates contractualization of Finergreen’s missions
o Maintain pertinent knowledge of our clients, their sectors and 
competitors leads

• Commercial

o Engendertheimportanceofnetworkconnectivityandco-ordination within your interdependent stakeholders using the collective resource to maximise opportunities

o Create long term relationship as a multi-products, multi-geographic Middle East trusted renewable energy expert, fully understanding client’s strategies and how we can pro-actively support the successful achievement

o Continuous prospection towards existing clients


• HR & Controls

o Supervision of the Analysts and management of their priorities: Support and encourage their development and develop strong capabilities in the population

o Running of rounds of interviews with respect to the recruitment processes of future interns and analysts

o Adhere to cost controls/policies
o Promote diversity, community, teamwork and transparency within your day to

day dealings


In this small company (30 people at the time of writing), you will get the chance to work in a young and dynamic environment while taking part in all the aspects of our diverse activity. You will acquire strong financial skills (financial structuring, balance sheet analysis, modelling...), will gain solid knowledge related to financial transactions (project financing or M&A deals) while evolving in an entrepreneurial framework where everyone participates in the growth of the company and where initiatives are very welcome.






You have a Master’s degree (or equivalent) and have followed a financial curriculum (or an engineering curriculum with some finance). You have 2 to 5 years of experience within top tier firms (whether in a corporate, an advisory firm or an investment fund) in project finance ideally in the renewable energy sector.

You have professional and strong personal skills in the following domain :

  • Extensive product knowledge across financing (and/or advisory) enabling to master the transactional issues of an infrastructure project (financial, fiscal, legal and/or technical)

  • Advanced financial modelling in Excel

  • Proven strong commercial skills and pragmatism in decision making

  • You are autonomous when you master your activity and are able to identify and isolate doubtful points and pro-actively mobilize the necessary resources to sort it out

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • You are native or completely fluent in English, both spoken and written. Being comfortable working in French could be a plus. Any other language (Arabic) could be greatly appreciated.
